Ce dimanche 13 mai 2019, une partie du monde célébrait la traditionnelle fête des mères. L'occasion parfaite pour les stars de mettre à l’honneur leur maman, leurs enfants ou leur moitié.
Sur Instagram, les people ont partagé de belles déclarations, des anecdotes et des instants d'intimité exclusifs pour fêter ce jour si particulier avec leur followers.
Certains en ont profité pour rappeler l’importance de la présence maternelle dans leur vie et dans leur carrière. Comme la mannequin Bella Hadid, « je ne serais pas moi, sans toi », l’acteur et chanteur Jared Leto « merci de m’avoir appris à rêver », ou encore l’actrice et égérie Louis Vuitton, Indya Moore, « tu t’es battue contre le monde du mieux que tu pouvais et compris comment élever notre famille. »

Mommy always told us "Every day is mothers day." This Mother's day I want to remind mothers to love and protect their children, your baby can get snatched by the wickedness of this world in a heartbeat, or even by her very own trauma & fear. I also want to acknowledge mothers who have had children and weren't ready. It's okay to leave your children in care of someone you trust and is ready willing and able to mother. Thank you to moms who tried hard anyway. This mothers day i'm thinking about kids in foster care, who are thinking of their mothers who have had traumatic experiences but miss their mothers. I'm thinking of mothers who miss their kids, who are in jail. Who's kids are in foster care because they struggled to raise their kods because of their own trauma, generational or otherwise. I'm thinking of adopted kids, & their mothers who've adopted them- i'm so grateful for them. I'm thinking of mothers who couldn't be mothers and have given their children up for adoption, I'm thinking of mother's who've lost their children to gun violence, murder and mysterious deaths and have had to heal to stay alive, and who are alive and haven't healed and have have other children they have to live for, and who have lost the will to live because the life they gave their life to create life is gone. Your purpose to live still stands for you, even while the work of life you made is taken from you, you still live for you still live for them. I'm thinking of children who lost their mothers, to their mother's trauma, life, drugs, abusive partners, suicide, death, capitalism, ignorance, bias, religion, tradition, a lack of forgiveness... I'm thinking of kids who don't have mothers but have fathers, or have non binary parents. Thank you mom for trying, doing, surviving, healing, creating. You did what you can and in your best power, you worked against the world the best that you could and understood how to raise our family. And even Though the pictures don't look the same anymore, and have changed over the years i'm still so grateful to even have photos to look at, memories that were Beautiful and an undying faith that God is pleased with my mother. thank you so very much.

Du coté des hommes, ils ont fait part de leur admiration sans faille pour les mères de leurs enfants. « Jessica (Biel), tu es le ciment qui maintient notre famille unie », déclare Justin Timberlake, en rappelant que « tous les jours devraient être la fête des mères. » L’acteur Will Smith, lui, préfère jouer la carte de l’humour en partageant la photo de sa femme Jada Pinkett Smith qui souffre visiblement d’un orgelet.

Enfin, de nombreuses jeunes mamans ont partagé des images de leur bébé, pour célébrer leur récente maternité. C’est le cas de l’actrice Eva Longoria qui fêtait son premier « mother’s day », « je ne me rappelle même plus ce qu’était ma vie avant que ce petit bout d’amour n’y rentre. » Même cas pour Diane Kruger qui a dévoilé un cliché rare en compagnie de sa fille, « aussi longtemps que je vivrais, tu seras toujours mon bébé. »

Des beaux moments de complicité et de tendresse, mais la photo la plus remarquée reste sans doute celle du petit Archie, le nouveau « royal baby », dans les bras de sa maman Meghan Markle. L’actrice et princesse qui elle aussi honorait sa première fête des mères.
